Hikers get the full experience of exploring the northwoods and Lake Superior while also enjoying all the amenities and comforts of a resort. Hiking Checklist *Obtain a map & familiarize yourself with the trail *Allow an hour for each two to three miles of trail *Let someone know your route and expected return time *Carry water, high-energy snacks, sunscreen, bug repellent, a flashlight and raingear *Wear sturdy shoes or hiking boots *Always pack out what you bring in - dispose of trash responsibly *Trails cross private, county, state and federal lands - please respect this *Consider bringing binoculars and a camera *Use common sense |
