LOCATION
From Hwy 61 about 5 miles north of Tofte, go north on Onion River Road
(Forest Rd 336) for 2 miles to the parking

TRAILHEAD
Oberg: on the east side of the Onion River Road
LeVeaux: the west end of the parking area

LENGTH
Oberg: 2.25 miles round-trip
LeVeaux: 3.5 miles round-trip

LEVEL OF DIFFICULTY
Oberg: moderate ascent to an easy loop
LeVeaux: moderate

HIGHLIGHTS
Oberg: a premier trail! a switchback climb to a loop with 9 overlooks; outstanding
during fall colors
LeVeaux: features overlooks and the first leg is a good spot to watch for deer (and maybe even a moose) feeding at dawn or dusk

LOCATION
On Hwy 61 in Lutsen (at mile-marker 100); parking at the river and in the park

TRAILHEAD
on the west side of the river off Hwy 61; trails can also be accessed from the
park campgrounds

LENGTH
18 miles of total trails

LEVEL OF DIFFICULTY
Easy to more difficult (length and steep grades)

HIGHLIGHTS
lots of easy loops and spurs - up both sides of the river and along the lake shore; popular Lookout Mountain hike with steep direct approach (2.25 miles total) or wind around and up and tkae the direct route back doan (4 miles)

AMENITIES
outhouses (restrooms in park), picnic area and water
