From Hwy 61, go north on MN Hwy 1 for 7 miles, then east on Co. Rd. 7
another 7 miles

TRAILHEAD
State Park parking lot - enter on the middle trail

LENGTH
3.2 miles round-trip

LEVEL OF DIFFICULTY
Moderate to most difficult (steep grades)

HIGHLIGHTS
views of the river and Lake Superior initially then descend to the river valley,
climb the other side and enjoy four overlooks of the Manitou, its valley and
Lake Superior
