| Description |
Ride some back roads! Make it as two-car plan and you can ride up over the ridge all the way down to Grand Marais. You can begin at Eagle Mountain, Devil Track Campground or the picnic site on the Cascade River. This can be a great short ride or a moderate longer ride. |

From Highway 61 in Grand Marais, drive north on the Gunflint Trail, then west on Co. Rd. 8, staying to the south where it turns into Co. Rd. 57 and continue to the campground or junction with the Bally Creek Rd |

Pincushion Mountain Trails
| Description |
Ride the cross-country ski trail network; loops from 1 - 13 kilometers with most difficult trails being the hilliest. A favorite is the Pincushion Mtn loop, which includes a short hike to the peak for beautiful overlooks. |

Maple or Eliason Tower Loop
| Description |
Especially pretty in the fall! A 12-mile loop along back forest and county roads. Moose have been spotted at dawn and dusk along this trail. Ride north on Co. Rd. 14, west on Forest Rd. 304 and return south on the dirt trail to Co Rd 60 and head east to the starting point. |
