The North Shore Mountains trail system is 196K of interconnected trails originating at Cross River in Schroeder and extending northeast to Bally Creek, which is west of Grand Marais.

6.7K Cross River Loop is laid out so that a number of variations can be skied, each about 3K; it is mostly easy with one steep hill |
