New at Lutsen Mountains
New for 2010-2011, Lutsen Mountains introduces a series of progression terrain parks that offer freestyle terrain for all levels. Terrain park features are progressively placed on all four mountains according to skill level:
Ullr Mountain, Lutsen's beginner mountain, introduces skiers and riders to freestyle terrain with some basic features in a non-intimidating environment.
A "graduate" of Ullr Mountain can move to Eagle Mountain to further develop terrain park skills on steeper slopes.
Mystery Mountain (former terrain park location) now features a boardercross course where riders can race down the series of turns, jumps and drops.
Advanced and intermediate freestylists can hone their skills on the full line of features located on Timberwolf Run on Moose Mountain. |
