Harvest Booya

Date: October 7, 2023

Time: 11:00 am - 4:00 pm

Location: Clair Nelson Center

Event Description

Booya is a classic Midwestern gathering named after the stew served, this one celebrating the harvest. One theory says the name came from a reporter misinterpreting the pronunciation of the word bouillon by one of the stew makers. However the word came about, the Harvest Booya in Finland is a celebration of community.

Have a bowl of stew, fry bread, lefse and baked treats. There will be live music, crafters and vendors making this the ideal stop for lunch on your fall color tours.
