Event Description

The North Taurids meteor shower is long-lasting but modest, and the peak number is forecast at about five meteors per hour.
Typically, you see the maximum numbers at or around midnight, when the constellation Taurus the Bull is highest in the sky.
Taurid meteors tend to be slow-moving but sometimes very bright, for a few hours after nightfall.
