Take a big hike! Start at Oberg and follow the hilly

7-mile trail to the peak of Moose Mountain for views

and vistas before descending through a maple forest

into the Poplar River Valley. Trailhead is 2 miles north

of Highway 61 on the Onion River Road. Trail ends at

Lutsen Mountains. Or just hike Oberg with its wide open

vistas of Lake Superior, the maple ridge line and Oberg

lake [pictured below].
