Lima Mountain Trail
| Description |
Here you go - the quintessential ride through the forest. The Lima Grade is a forest service road through woodlands, open areas, over creeks and river, to lakes highlighted by berries, wildlife and a spur to Lima Mountain. You can ride the entire road north to south or pick it up where either the Lima Mtn Rd or South Brule Rd interesect with the Lima Grade. If you can, leave a car at the south end, then ride north to south and end with a picnic or camping (rustic facilities) at the Twin Lakes camp area. |

From Highway 61 in Grand Marais, drive north on the Gunflint Trail to the Lima Grade, or take either the Lima Mtn Rd or South Brule Rd west to the intersection with the Lima Grade. |

Old Gunflint Trail
| Description |
A five-mile hilly little road on the northern end of the Gunflint Trail. If you ride south to north, you end up at the Iron Lake campground, which has picnic sites. |

It is not a good idea to ride your bike on the Gunflint Trail. It is narrow with no or little shoulders, many curves and is trafficked by many vehicles towing trailers. |
